The iPhone has a Long Exposure feature, which can be accessed using the Live Photo mode, so I’ve been experimenting with it to create these seascapes. It softens the motion of the waves and I like the dreamy effect it creates.

Above the snow clouds, Kiev
After having the wings of our plane de-iced, we departed Kiev and broke through the snow clouds to be greeted with a peaceful, beautiful scene. How different, how calm, it looks above the snow clouds compared to whirling, swirling scene below them.
London at dusk
We have some friends from Australia staying with us at the moment. Yesterday, we took them on the London Eye, a giant Ferris wheel on the South Bank of the River Thames. We boarded our capsule as the sun was setting. The sky and lighting were quite dramatic.
