The clocks went back one hour this morning, as British Summer Time came to an end. I woke up and went to make myself a coffee. I looked through the kitchen window to see the garden shrouded in mist. There were so many cobwebs glistening in the gentle morning light. Autumn has definitely arrived!
I used my macro lens and a tripod to take these photos. I still found it surprisingly difficult to get the entire scene sharply focused throughout although I quite like the effect of the photos.
Beautiful!

Three great shots, especially the first one. I like rain on cobwebs because then you’re less likely to walk into them and do the cobweb dance!

Ha ha! That’s so true, Jeni! I’ve done the cobweb dance a few times in the last couple of weeks. They seem to be everywhere at the moment!
