Extinction Rebellion
There have been a number of protests going on in London this week, organised by Extinction Rebellion, a climate change activist movement.
Protestors have brought one of the capital’s busiest intersections, Oxford Circus, to a standstill.
These are a selection of photos I took at the site of the demonstration.
Dream state
I had a very unsettled sleep last night, where I drifted in and out of strange, abstract dreams. Dreams I couldn’t quite focus on and couldn’t quite grasp. (Maybe watching Season 2 of The OA before bed wasn’t such a good idea!)
I took this photo in the garden today. The very selective focus of this shot, where the main elements of the flower feel just out of grasp, resonated with me.
Apple Blossom
I love this time of year, when the blossom starts to come out on the young trees in my garden. The beautiful, colourful, delicate petals on my crab apple tree are fleeting, but also a positive sign that nature is stirring from the slumber of winter and good weather is on the way once more.

It’s been far too long since I picked up my camera and took any photos. I started a new job about 18 months ago and it’s pretty much consumed my life ever since. So, to restore some balance, I booked myself on to an Open-City London Architecture Tour, which took place today.
