I’m currently living in South Australia for a few months. While I’ve not been directly affected by the awful bushfires which swept the country over the last six months, I occasionally come across the damage they caused.

Baby Bird Bath Time
We’re very fortunate to have a flat in London that comes with a garden. We feel even luckier to have a garden that has a large park behind it, so we are surrounded by nature.
My garden has become my sanctuary. I love to sit and let the stress of London float away as I look at the plants, the open sky and the beautiful, mature trees in the park behind us. It is so peaceful, I can often forget that I live in one of the busiest cities in the world.
What is time?
The last few days have been quite amazing for me. I’ve been overwhelmed by the attention my Chernobyl photo essay received, after Krista, an editor at WordPress, selected it for the Discover section.
Chernobyl: 30 Years On
Today marks the 30th anniversary of the world’s worst nuclear accident, at Chernobyl in Ukraine.
I visited the exclusion zone earlier this year and have put together a personal photo essay of my trip there.
